Sam Smith is seeing a surge on U.S. charts this week with his new single "Stay With Me." The pop-rock ballad from the rising British singer has hit number ten on the Billboard Hot 100.
"Stay With Me" jumped up nine positions from last week, and the song is also sitting at number three on the Digital Songs chart. It sold 167,000 copies.
Sam has two other songs on the Hot 100 as well. He's featured on "Latch" by Disclosure at number 17 and "La La La" by Naughty Boy at number 41.
The 22-year-old is gaining traction on this side of the pond after coming out as gay in an interview with Fadar magazine two weeks ago. His debut album In The Lonely Hour arrives in the U.S. on June 17th.
