Lightning strikes a construction worker in Martin County.
It happened at a site on Indian River Drive near Jensen Beach around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Several co-workers performed CPR on the man until rescue crews arrived. The 46-year old worker was pouring cement for a new pool at a construction site in Ocean Breeze when the lightning struck him. He was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
Among the agencies investigating are the Martin County Sheriff's Office and Fire Rescue, along with OSHA.
