The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man who attacked a deputy early Sunday morning in Lake Worth.
The unnamed deputy was checking on a business in an alleyway along 7th Avenue South when he was flagged down by a black male who then ambushed and struck the deputy on his face with some sort of a sharp object.
The deputy was treated and released from the hospital.
The suspect was last seen running eastbound from the 1,000 block of Seventh Avenue South.
