I've got the power! Update on the remaining outages:
Bottom Line: After five full days without power, I was blessed with the gift of A/C and a hot shower upon returning home on Friday. While being at longer end of the curve without power, there are still some that are at seven days and counting (who really must be hot, tired and frustrated at this point). Here are the latest numbers of South Floridians based on the percentages who do have power as of 5 am this morning:
- Martin County: 99%
- Palm Beach County (FPL): 99%
- Lake Worth Utilities: 100%
- Broward: 98%
- Miami-Dade: 95%
- Collier: 71%
