Miami Man Shot & Paralyzed By Police Wants Charges Dropped

A man shot and paralyzed by police in Miami last month is asking for all charges to be dropped. Attorney Ben Crump says 47-year-old Donald Armstrong wasn't even armed when he was shot nine times after being tased at his home on Northwest 7th Court. Armstrong faces several charges including aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer. Crump says he was suffering from a mental episode. He's being held without bond. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is investigating.
