Things are right on track for our goal of having the Izor family living in their new home in time for Thanksgiving.

It's the "Home for the Holidays" campaign at Habitat for Humanity of Palm Beach County's Kennedy Estates II community in Jupiter.

We're asking you to volunteer some time, helping to build the Newsradio 1290 WJNO and Kool 105.5 homes.

The families moving into these homes are being granted 30 year interest-free mortgages and they must put in 400 "sweat equity" hours, meaning they will be working hard building their homes and others in their community.

We check in with Martin Bixler, Director of Construction for Habitat for Humanity of Palm Beach County.  If you are on the fence about pitching in, here's his message:

"You really can't truly appreciate the feeling that you get if you don't at least try it. You go out and you sweat, you work hard and you leave at the end of the day having worked with the homeowner, and it's just a really really good feeling. I've never really experienced a volunteer that couldn't say something positive about volunteering with us."
