Her name is Katharine, but she's not someone you'd like to go swimming with no doubt. Katharine is a Great White Shark. She started her summer in the Gulf of Mexico, but has recently been spotted off the coast of Boynton Beach.

Ocearch.Org recently registered a "ping" somewhere between Lake Worth and Lantana. That actually happened on Saturday. Katharine is a tagged shark with a GPS.

Experts say it appears Katharine is making her way north. Her previous two "pings" were Key Largo and the Bahamas. Ocearch has tagged 150 sharks in the past seven years.
