The holiday shopping season is off to a decent start as the National Retail Federation says people spent an average of 402 dollars from Thanksgiving say thru that following Sunday. That is down from an average of 423 last year, but John Flemming at the FLORIDA Retail Federation says the season is not over yet and the in-store decrease in spending will be made up with online spending. Flemming says the big push starts today as retailer pull out all the stops to get you to come in and spend even more money ahead of the big day.
