If the city of Palm Beach Gardens doesn't want it, perhaps Boca Raton would be a good place for a new Spring Training Complex.

A developer says there is no better place in Palm Beach County than Boca, where there is available land and some athletic facilities.

Glenn Gromann is talking to city and county leaders after Palm Beach Gardens asked the county to consider other sites for the Houston Astros and Toronto Blue Jays.

Gromann thinks a good area for the complex would be along Spanish River Boulevard, just west of I-95.

The developer says it's essential to land the teams in Palm Beach County because of the tourism dollars they will bring in when their fans come to watch them play.
