West Palm Beach City Commissioners last night gave approval to a re-zoning ordinance which will allow the construction of the Palm Harbor Marina Hotel on Flagler Drive.

It was the second reading for the project that had some nearby condo residents unhappy, fearing the 108 room boutique hotel would block their view of downtown.

A city spokesman says there will be tight restrictions on the construction of a parking garage, which seems to have been the biggest concern at last night's meeting.
