Your home may be worth more than you thought, based on Palm Beach County's tax base estimates.

The numbers released on Wednesday show the overall taxable property values went up by 6.9 percent last year.

That's more growth than what was expected by the county's Property Appraiser, Gary Nikolits, who had projected a 5.4 percent increase in the tax base.

Every municipality in Palm Beach County are on pace to see their taxable values rise, which would be the first time that's happened since the real estate bubble burst.
