Bring your photo I.D. to the polls with you today, during the state's primary.   Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Democrats today will be voting for a nominee for governor.  Former Republican Governor Charlie Crist is running on his new party ticket against former state Senator Nan Rich.  Crist appears the leader in this race.

Incumbent Governor Rick Scott does have a Republican Primary today, but his two challengers are relative unknowns.

In addition to the two primaries for governor, Democrats will select a nominee for state Attorney General to challenge Pam Bondi in November.  It will be either former DCF Secretary George Sheldon or state House Minority Leader Perry Thurston of Fort Lauderdale.

There are two countywide judicial races.  Diana Lewis and Jessica Ticktin are going against each other in the race for Circuit Court District 14.

While it's a three-way battle for Circuit Court District 30.  We've reported on candidate Peggy Rowe-Linn having been the only judicial candidate in the state to pledge her support to a pro-life pac, before rescinding that pledge after folks had concerns that it could make her appear impartial.  Rowe-Linn is joined by Maxine Cheesman and Jaime Goodman in this race.

Republicans have a six-way race for the nomination in the U.S. Congressional District 18 race.  One of these candidates will face incumbent U-S Representative Patrick Murphy in November...Carl Domino, Calvin Turnquest, Brian Lara, Beverly Hires, Allen Schlesinger or Nick Wukoson.

There are Democratic Primaries for Congressional Districts 20 and 21.  Alcee Hastings and Ted Deutch are the incumbents.

There's a Republican Primary for State Senate District 32, where the GOP's Joe Negron currently serves and the State House District 81 Democratic Primary is a universal one, meaning members of both parties may vote.  Kevin Rader is the incumbent.
