State education officials are holding three public hearings this week to give people a chance to talk about academic standards for public schools.
Governor Rick Scott called these hearings because he's having second thoughts about Florida's switch to national education standards known as "common core".
The first hearing takes place Tuesday night in Tampa. The second hearing happens Wednesday at Broward College in South Florida and it wraps up Thursday in Tallahassee.
If you can't get to any of the meetings, you can submit comments over the internet at flstandards.org.
