If you think some of the roads in Royal Palm Beach are just awful, it's not your imagination. A survey of the village’s roads showed that 95 percent of them are fair to excellent, with 5 percent rated in serious to poor condition. So if you live or drive a lot in the western community, you might want to know the village is about to fix them with a five-year resurfacing program. The village engineer informed the council of the problems last week. He says a company conducted the survey by driving a van throughout the city last year. They videotaped every square foot of every single road.
