The Florida Forest Service has put Palm Beach County under an open burning ban as the area is now approaching a “critical state” of increased wildfire.
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — An open burning ban is in effect in Palm Beach County.
The mandatory burn ban prohibits all outdoor burning that has not been specifically permitted by the Florida Forest Service.
These include all such outdoor fires including: bon fires, campfires, burning yard debris, and any permitted residential and commercial land clearing operations.
Barbecue grills are still permitted at the moment.
