West Palm Beach Boil Water Order Now Lifted For All Customers

The City of West Palm Beach has lifted its precautionary boil water order.

The alert was posted on Friday morning after a water main break the night before that occurred off Tamarind Avenue.

Residents of West Palm Beach, South Palm Beach and Palm Beach were told not to consume tap water.

After consultation with the Florida Department of Health, which conducted two days of sampling, the advisory was lifted.

The advisory remained in effect for a number of addresses in North Tamarind Avenue areas, but rescinded it for those residents on Monday.

According to an update on the City of West Palm Beach's website:

Water service has been restored to ALL customers impacted by Thursday night’s 24-inch water main break.

Customers should run their water for 5-10 minutes before resuming normal use.
