  • Florida Emergency Management Director Jared Moskowitz said a Moderna shipment of 208,000 vaccines set to arrive in Florida this week has been delayed due to the winter storms throughout the country. He said the delay could last several days.
  • According to Visit Florida, total tourists visiting Florida in 2020 dropped 34% due to the pandemic. The total of just under 87 million visitors was the lowest since 2010, although a strong fourth quarter helped prevent a sharper drop-off.
  • Spring Training baseball is back with 15 teams opening camp with pitchers and catchers reporting. This includes the St. Louis Cardinals opening camp at Roger Dean Stadium today along with the Houston Astros and Washington Nationals at the Ballpark of the Palm Beaches. The Miami Marlins open camp tomorrow.
