Trayvon Martin Gets Posthumous Degree From South Florida College

A university in South Florida will give Trayvon Martin a posthumous degree this month.

Martin was 17 when he was shot and killed by George Zimmerman in Sanford back in 2012.

The case made news worldwide.Florida Memorial University, a historically black college in the Miami area, will award Martin with a posthumous bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Science on May 13 and his parents will accept it on his behalf. 

The teen's mother, Sybrina Fulton, is a graduate of the university.  She says Trayvon wanted to become a pilot.
