If you've been to any local McDonald's lately, you may have noticed computerized kiosks to take your order.
They are in addition to staff members at the counter, and franchisee Ricky Wade said their purpose is not to replace workers.
"We're not going to be replacing jobs with the kiosks. The kiosks are just there to provide a simpler, more efficient way to serve our customers."
In fact, McDonald's is holding a nationwide hiring event on June 7th and 8th, and Wade says anyone looking for work can feel free to stop by any of his locations.
Also, moms can stop by this Sunday for a free Mother's Day breakfast when they bring their children.
Ricky says the offer is only available inside.
"I think it's important that you get a chance that special time with your mom because this is family time, it's a special day for all moms. Moms want to be appreciated and we want to help you appreciate your moms."
