PBSO: "Gray Death Is Latest Deadly Opioid Mixture To Arrive In PBC"

A warning about a new drug known as "Gray Death" is now coming from the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.

We first heard from the Martin County Sheriff about this deadly mix of dangerous opioids earlier this month.

William Snyder had ordered special gear for his deputies when they encounter the drug, which looks like concrete mix, and can appear in a powder or chunky rock-like material.  That's because simply touching the mixture can put you at risk because the drugs can be absorbed through the skin.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office Wednesday night sent out a press release stating that "Gray Death is the latest deadly opioid mixture to arrive in Palm Beach County," though no specific incidents were listed.

The drug has already claimed lives in Georgia, Alabama and Ohio.
