A man carrying what turned out to be a fake gun at Orlando International Airport is in custody after a more than two-and-half hour standoff Tuesday night.
The Orlando Police Chief said officers responded to reports of an armed man on the first floor of the airport in the rental-car area. You can hear cops trying to reason with the man in the video above.
26-year old Michael Pettigrew was taken into custody after talking to a crisis negotiator.
Police say the man is a former Marine. He is undergoing a mental evaluation.
