Fans who had to wait an extra day for Tim Tebow's first game with the St. Lucie Mets were treated to a two-run homer and two singles as he played both games of a doubleheader at First Data Field Wednesday evening.
Tebow's debut was supposed to happen on Tuesday night, but the game was rained out.
Despite Tebow's performance, the Mets were swept by the Palm Beach Cardinals.
The teams meet for a final time in this series Thursday night and it's Dollar Night at the ballpark in Port St. Lucie. That means hot dogs, sodas and beers are just a buck each.
First pitch is at 6:30 p.m.
