President Trump spent the day in Las Vegas yesterday, speaking with officials about the massacre outside the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, where gunman Stephen Paddock fired upon a concert crowd below from his 32nd floor hotel room. The President said the shooting was cruel evil and called the U.S. a nation in mourning. He said hope can always be found in the “depths of horror.” Trump also praised the police, paramedics and civilian heroes who rushed to help victims.
