6 PBC High Schools Receive "Five Star Award"

Miami Schools Teach Adults English As A Second Language

The Florida Department of Education announced this week which schools earned the Five Star School Award for the 2016-2017 school year.  

There are several elementary, middle and charter schools with the distinction in Palm Beach County.  Six public high schools received the award, which is presented to schools that are "committed to incorporating family and community members into the school environment to enhance student learning." 

The high schools earning the Five Star School Award are John I. Leonard, Palm Beach Central, Royal Palm Beach High, Santaluces, Suncoast and Wellington High School.
