PBSO: Hurricane Irma Looter Tries To Cash In Stolen Lottery Tickets

Stupid Crook

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office is asking for help in finding a man originally wanted for looting during Hurricane Irma, who has now resurfaced.

The man was first caught on surveillance video, breaking into 3M Discount Express, a convenience store along South Military Trail in suburban West Palm Beach.  He stole $12,000 worth of cash, cigarettes and lottery tickets.

Deputies say the same crook was recently caught on camera, trying to cash in the stolen lottery tickets at a nearby Publix.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS, or reporting what they know through the Sheriff's Office "Connect and Protect" app.
