Minimum Wage

Florida's minimum wage is going up 15 cents next year.

The Department of Economic Opportunity says the state's minimum wage will go from $8.10 to $8.25 as of January 1.

That will be exactly one dollar higher than the federal minimum wage ($7.25).

Florida's minimum wage is tied to inflation.
