Listen: VP Mike Pence Talks Tax Reform In Orlando

Vice President Mike Pence visited Orlando yesterday.

He told area businesses and community leaders that they should support the Republicans' tax reform plan.

Pence says the plan would lower taxes for many Americans, doubling the standard deduction.  That means the first $24,000 in family income would be 100 percent tax free.

The VP also says taxes would be simplified to the point that 90 percent of Americans could fill out their tax returns on a post card.

Pence was joined in Orlando by Gov. Rick Scott and U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Purdue at Correct Craft, a manufacturer.
