President Trump Holds Joint Press Conference With Japanese PM Shinzo Abe

President Trump's latest stop during his week long stay in South Florida is Key West.

After hosting Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, his wife and a delegation from Japan, the president now heads south.  But he'll return in the afternoon to Palm Beach and remain in town through Sunday.

His two-hour visit Thursday includes a tour of Naval Air Station Key West--Truman Annex on Boca Chica Key.

In addition, the president and Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen will be briefed on the activities of an inter-agency drug task force.

Trump winds up his week by attending a Republican Party fundraiser at Mar-a-Lago Friday night.

Road closures on Palm Beach remain in place through the weekend.

Meanwhile, First Lady Melania Trump plans to attend the funeral for former First Lady Barbara Bush in Houston on Saturday.  No word on whether President Trump plans to attend with her.
