With the coronavirus outbreak still in full force, masks have become the normal everyday attire when going in public settings.
According to Dean Blumberg, chief of pediatric infectious diseases at UC Davis Children’s Hospital, wearing a mask can decrease the risk of infection by 65% and social distancing decreases the transmission of the virus by 90%.
There are already some states that have taken the initiative, by already implemented policies to make wearing a face covering of some sort in public in the hot spot areas mandatory.
While Florida does not have a statewide mask order in place, there are several counties and cities that do have the policy in place.
