The Boynton Beach Police Department is hosting a drive-thru food distribution event this weekend.
The agency, along with the city's Parks and Recreation Department, Feeding South Florida and Christ Fellowship Church are holding the event on Saturday at 9 a.m. in the parking lot of the Boynton Beach Mall.
Fresh produce, meats, dairy and shelf-stable items will be given out to families who need them on a first-come-first-served basis, while supplies last.
