Many COVID-19 Test Sites Are Closing In Palm Beach County

Several COVID-19 testing sites are closing in Palm Beach County.

Emergency Management Director Mary Blakeney told county commissioners on Tuesday that all state-run testing locations are shutting down later this week.

Those include sites at the Ballpark of the Palm Beaches, the V.A. Medical Center and Town Center Boca Raton.

Blakeney says there will still be plenty of places available to get tested for the coronavirus.

"With the network of private providers, pharmacies and public health clinics who provide testing, we feel this combination of these resources will meet the current demand for testing."

Blakeney says 893,092 COVID-19 tests have been conducted throughout Palm Beach County since testing began.
