2 FHP Troopers & Police K9 In Stable Condition After Crash On Turnpike

Two Florida Highway Patrol troopers who were injured in a crash along the Turnpike on Tuesday are expected to survive.

The two patrol cars had pulled over a vehicle near mile marker 113 in Palm Beach Gardens when a truck pulling a trailer that was hauling vehicles lost control and caused a collision.

The troopers and the driver of the vehicle they had stopped are in stable condition at Jupiter Medical Center.

A police K9 is at an animal hospital in stable condition as well.

The northbound lanes of the Turnpike were closed for a while during the afternoon rush hour.
