A South Florida city is holding a relief drive for the residents of Haiti.
Boynton Beach city officials say they're collecting medical supplies, PPE, tents and financial donations for victims of Saturday's earthquake.
Commissioner Christina Romelus says the tragedy hit her close to home.
"I've lost family in this incident and so many others have as well. And so I'm wishing for them my condolensces and my thoughts and prayers."
Boynton Beach and Les Cayes, Haiti are "sister cities," sharing a diplomatic partnership.
The donations of supplies are being accepted at the city's Fire Station One at 200 NE 1st Avenue, from 9 am. to 5 p.m.
Clothing and food are not being accepted right now. The city is, however, looking for pilots to fly relief items to Haiti.
