The Palm Beach Town Council is considering an ordinance that would ban the use of gasoline-powered leaf blowers.
Council members are expected on Tuesday to vote on granting final approval to the measure that would prohibit the use of the blowers on any size property.
Right now, the gas-powered leaf blowers are permitted on properties that are larger than an acre.
If approved, the ordinance would take effect in May.
