The Greatest American Comeback & The Biggest Election Losers – Top 3 Takeaways – November 7th, 2024
- The greatest comeback in American history. Americans love a great comeback story and on Tuesday delivered Donald Trump, who’d already long been donned with the moniker “Teflon Don”, for his ability to bounce back following personal setbacks, divorces and bankruptcies to become one our countries greatest personal success stories prior to having ever entered politics. But even for Teflon Don, the one comeback feat that most thought even he couldn’t complete was this one. In the eyes of many in this country the only outcome seemingly less likely than Donald Trump having been elected president in 2016 was his redemption in 2024. Donald Trump joins Grover Cleveland, the 22nd and 24th president of the United States, as the only presidents to successfully complete a political comeback. Unlike Grover, Trump did this after having been indicted four times and convicted once by a corrupt federal government engaged in the ultimate form of election interference... This as the Biden-Harris administration sought to literally imprison its top political opponent... Trump did this after having survived two assassination attempts including one that resulted in him being shot and that’s of course after the entire Russian Collusion Hoax that began prior to his first term in office and culminated in two impeachments by a Democrat controlled congress that was clearly focused on its own agenda and not your agenda which is what they were elected to do. The bottom line is that there’s never been a president like Donald Trump. There’s never been a comeback story like Donald Trump’s – the 45th and 47th president of the United States. And while Tuesday was a faith restoring moment for those of us who believe in our representative republic, because of the election of Donald Trump and Republicans down ballot, it was also a faith restoring moment for what it rejected. And no, I’m not talking about Kamala Harris. She wasn’t the biggest loser Tuesday night. Something much bigger than her went down.
- The Biggest losers...a corrupt Washington establishment. The Godless, soulless and slanderous news media and DEI. From putting a man on the moon to connecting you anywhere around the world to YouTube, we know what Elon Musk can do. When Elon took control of Twitter just over two years ago...guess how many shadow banning employees were forced to go? 80%. Elon Musk cleaned out 80% of Twitters employees. We’re going to see what happens when the world’s most successful entrepreneur, is tasked with taking out the trash in Washington D.C. Trump has dubbed Elon as “the secretary of cost cutting”. Not an official cabinet position, however a position in which Elon will be asked to help right size the federal government. Now, let me ask you. If Elon Musk found 80% of the Twits that he inherited expendable, what percentage of federal government agency employees do you think are expendable? Here’s a quick history lesson. Through 1865 we had five federal government agencies and no federal income tax. They were... Department of War, Department of State, Department of Navy, Department of Treasury, Office of the Attorney General. That’s right. For the first 76 years of our history, we only had those five departments. Since 1865 we’ve added 425 federal government agencies with the proliferation of them starting after the federal income tax was adopted in 1913 and exploding during the New Deal in the 1930’s. In so doing we’ve implemented massive federal income taxes and managed to accumulate $36 trillion in debt in the process. It’s a model that’s bloated and unsustainable if we want to maintain our freedom over the long run. With every piece of expansion of our federal government, a bit more of our liberty is chipped away...but rather than viewing it that way and realizing that there’s a tangible cost we all pay for it out of the money we earn – which is another way bloated federal government eats away at our liberty. Do you think we need 430 federal government agencies? How many can you even name? How much of an impact would retaining some of the $15,200 your household and every household pays for in federal government salaries annually have to you and your family? Elon Musk will be positioned to eliminate the Deep State. Like literally eliminating their positions. Will there be a battle over this? No doubt. But it’s a battle worth fighting and a battle that needs to be won. More government equals less freedom economically and otherwise. Period. Less government equals more freedom economically and otherwise. Period. As for the other two biggest losers...the legacy news media and DEI. According to Gallup a record low 31% of Americans trusted mass media heading into this election and it’s clear that the legacy news media is rightfully dead. According to the Media Research Center coverage of the 2024 presidential election was the most biased in American history. They found that across the legacy news media establishment coverage of Democrats was framed positively 78% of the time compared to positive coverage of Republicans 15% of the time. Clearly no one other than the dopes already brainwashed by the Morning Schmoe care about what these dishonest misinformation merchants have to say. As I always say there are two sides to stories and one side to facts. Facts are what have been missing from national news reporting and as a result they’ve rendered themselves irrelevant with the average American voter. And finally...
- Bye-bye DEI. The lowest form of the political condition is identity politics. I cannot think of anything more intellectually insulting than someone telling you that you must vote a certain way because of the color of your skin, your ethnicity, or your gender (even if to you that’s fluid). Yet that’s exactly what Barrack Obama told black men to do. That’s exactly what Kamala Harris and the entire Democrat apparatus told women to do. That’s exactly what Americans rejected. The fact of the matter is far more minorities, and far more women voted for an old white man four years ago (Joe Biden), than voted for the younger Black woman this time around. Donald Trump doubled his Black support and increased his support with women and Hispanics by about 7%. As Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. said... I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. DEI is the antithesis of Dr. King’s dream. In fact, DEI programs are inherently bigoted and discriminatory. The was the election cycle the average American saw DEI for what it is. Anti-American. Bye-bye, DEI.
