Cheat Sheet Q&A: About the Palm Beach County School District & tomorrow's elections:
Today's entry: Brian Brian Brian, absurdity is what the school board is all about, I have been involved with the school board in one form or another for over 30 years and you have only touched on the hem of the Garment when you say absurdity in relationship to Palm Beach County School Board, keep up the good work my friend your comments were dead on point.
Bottom Line: I've been encouraged to see an increase in awareness and support for my efforts to call attention to questionable activity within the school district's decision making and accountability. This note comes after my observation regarding the school district's decision to send out notifications that essentially Palm Beach County schools are sanctuary zones in which the school district won't take any action to attempt to ensure that students are legally here prior to using our taxpayers resources to educate, feed and transport them...but if you're a legal student and you don't get immunized as they've determined is appropriate - why then you're not welcome.
While it's nice to see that I'm not just a voice in the wind, it's important that action is taken to begin to hold local officials accountable. I choose this entry today as a reminder to inform yourself and engage politically before tomorrow's elections if you haven't already. 21 of the 39 municipalities in Palm Beach County have elections tomorrow. Because of light turnout in local elections, you can play an especially critical role in turning the tide of local accountability. As you've likely heard me say on several occasions...The elections closest to you are often the one's that have the biggest impact on your day-to-day life.
