Bottom Line: We're all too aware of how pervasive the foreclosure crisis was for nearly a decade. During the worst of the foreclosure crisis Florida was first or second in overall foreclosure activity. We haven't been outside the top five in total activity since 2004 until last month. And this month - we're nearly out of the top ten!

Florida's overall foreclosure rate, according to ATTOM's Data solutions, is now just the 9th highest nationally. Just 1 in every 1194 homes is in some state of foreclosure. At the peak about 1 in 200 homes in Florida were some state of foreclosure. It's truly impressive to see how far we've come.
