If you like your technology - those who make it do too & they don't see a diversity problem:

Bottom Line: I have one interest when it comes to hiring. Who's the best person available for the job. Period. Sometimes they're black. Sometimes they're white. Sometimes they're Hispanic and bilingual. You get the idea.

What it never has been and never will be for me is are we "diverse" enough. A lot has been made of how non-diverse technology companies have been. All of it coming from outside the technology companies themselves. Skill, work ethic and brilliance create the technology products we use. Diversity for the sake of diversity doesn't.

New research from Atlassian, surveying those working for technology companies, found that 94% of employees say that diversity, or the lack thereof, is not an issue at their company. Makes sense. If you're operating at a high level, what you're going to care most about is that you're surrounded by the the best possible people that aid in the success of your work. Not quota hitting.

If you like your technology products - you probably agree.
