Stretching can help you think more effectively - really:

Bottom Line: The principal is pretty simple. If the only thing that you're exercising and stretching most days is your brain - you're probably not going to be optimizing your body's ability. Tim Sitt is the author of a book called: Move or Die

One note picked up on by Business Insider highlighted the daily stretching that Tim recommends to stimulate your brain. Here are the steps:

  • Spread your feet 3 feet
  • Rotate your torso
  • Extend your arm over
  • Increase your range of motion each time
  • Breathe deeply while doing this

It's pretty straight forward. This stretching exercise increases circulation increasing blood flow. Better blow flow equals a sharper mind. So try it out for a couple minutes a morning - you might be pleasantly surprised.
