Bottom Line: At the peak of the housing crisis Florida's foreclosure rate was 1 in under 200 homes. With the information for March fresh out of ATTOM Data Solutions we continued to see that Florida's foreclosure activity continues to plummet. Here's the latest:
- Rate: 1 in 1,245 homes
- Year over year change: -41.1%
- State rank: #9 (#5 in March 2016)
This report once again demonstrates that five years into the real-estate recovery - we're in a healthy and sustainable housing market throughout Florida that's continuing to improve. The overall progress we've made from the peak of the crisis is remarkable.
