Demand is high for those in demand (Highly successful business professionals)

Demand is high for those in demand (Highly successful business professionals)

Bottom Line: Top talent, by definition, is limited. In today's labor market, which is complicated, we have on one hand a retail environment that's suffering a worse fate than the Great Recession and on the other end of the spectrum - significant shortages of talent.  Whether you're interested in new opportunities or if you're wondering how you're viewed professionally consider this...

William Belk from Formula Partners completed a new survey on high performance business professionals and found the following:

  • 68% are contacted about new job opportunities at least monthly
  • 24% are contacted about new job opportunities at least weekly

That paints a pretty clear picture of how high demand currently is for top business talent. It's no secret that companies are having to work the hardest they've had to work to retain top talent due to the competition for their services (perhaps ever given the ease of communication through services like LinkedIn). It's also an enormous bargaining chip for those who are top performers and want to remain with their current employers.
