Tracking Trump for June 15th - What the President has been up to...

Bottom Line: The Trump administration had 110 total executive actions and a Supreme Court Justice to show for his Presidency through Wednesday morning. Here's what's happened since:

The Trump Tweets:

  • Happy birthday to U.S. ARMY and our soldiers. Thank you  for your bravery, sacrifices, & dedication. Proud to be your Commander-in-Chief!
  • Rep.  Steve Scalise of Louisiana, a true friend and patriot, was badly injured but will fully recover. Our thoughts and prayers are with him.

In non-tweet related activity:

  • Issued a Memo directing the Federal Government to continue to delay the implementation of his "travel ban" executive order in light of the federal courts having deemed it to be unconstitutional - pending a ruling by the Supreme Court
  • Issued the following proclamation: On Flag Day, we honor the symbol that reminds us that we are one Nation under God, united in our pursuit of liberty and justice for all.  Today, we celebrate and recognize June 14 as the day in 1777 when the Continental Congress formally adopted the Stars and Stripes as the official flag of the Republic.
  • Made an official statement in response to the shooting in Alexandria, Virginia https://www.whitehouse.gov/the-press-office/2017/06/14/statement-president-trump-shooting-virginia

Until tomorrow...
