Political engagement is still at record post-election records

Political engagement is still at record post-election records - In fact most are becoming even more engaged:

Bottom Line: We're now about a year removed from the Party conventions of 2016 and if anything political engagement is still only rising. Based on the latest research from the Pew Research Center we've never had post-Presidential election engagement like this. What's more is that it appears as though political engagement is potentially still rising. Here's what Pew found:

So we're now around nine months moved from the Presidential election and political engagement is about 39% higher than it was around the election! As you can see, male engagement is significantly higher but women are those who're most likely to be more engaged today with a 45% increase. Politically, it's interesting that Democrats are both most likely to be more and less engaged. Those on the left do appear to be the most likely to have increased their engagement generally. Here's another note from the study:

15% of Adults have actually attended a political event or rally so far this year (also a record for a non-election year). 67% of those who have do so have been opposed to President Trump/his agenda.
