All Teachers In Florida Who’ve Pledged To Teach Critical Race Theory

Bottom Line: On June 10th the Florida Board of Education banned the teaching of Critical Race Theory, heeding the call of Governor DeSantis who said Florida’s education system exists to create opportunity for our children. Critical Race Theory teaches kids to hate our country and to hate each other. It is state-sanctioned racism and has no place in Florida schools. Less than a month later, in advance of the upcoming school year, 69 Florida teachers are among the 5,068 teachers to sign a pledge stating they’ll teach it. As of Wednesday, the Zinn Project pledge to teach Critical Race Theory, regardless of the law, included these self-identified Florida teachers - starting with those in South Florida. I’m naming names so that parents and students may identify teacher’s they’re familiar with take appropriate action.
