Kingpin Biden, PA Headaches & Florida’s Elections - Top 3 Takeaways – May 19th, 2022 

1. El Chapo y El Presidente. Joaquin Guzman and Joe Biden. Peas in a pod those two. At least according to Governor DeSantis. As the Governor addressed the endless lawlessness at our southern border, which commonly finds its way here, DeSantis had this to say: Honestly, Biden should be given an honorary membership in the Mexican drug cartels, because nobody has done more to help the cartels than Biden with his open border policies. But while some might be quick to dismiss the quip in the name of politics, he has a point. While we don’t know what we don’t know regarding illegal drug trafficking within this country, we do know its toll on our society. Drug overdose deaths – driven by fentanyl have exploded. According to just released data from the CDC over 107,600 Americans died of drug overdoses last year. That’s a total that’s 15% higher than the previous year and a 40% increase from prior to the pandemic. The top three killers – fentanyl, meth and cocaine. And the top producer of all three. Mexico. It’s not just record numbers of illegal immigrants pouring into our country, it’s a record number of illegal drugs killing a record number of Americans as well. The next time you talk to someone who attempts to justify the administration's border policy, you can ask them if the lives of over 100,000 Americans per year matter? Biden’s border policy has led to deadlier drug dealings in this country in just a year, than El Chapo created with during his entire reign in Mexico. So, yeah DeSantis has a point. Biden’s no doubt been the most effective Mexican drug cartel member, honorary or otherwise, since he became president. He might not be effective at much but, he’s proven to be great at drug trafficking and illegal immigration. Something that’s proven less effective... 
2. Pennsylvania's election procedures. In the land of (Dr.) Oz it feels like a small scale version of déjà vu or the Twighlight Zone with flashbacks of the 2020 election. As we wait to see who the Republican Senate candidate from Pennsylvania will be, it’s a reminder that it wasn’t that long ago we were them in Florida. Days on end of vote counting after Election Day in Broward and Palm Beach County. Found ballot boxes, machine errors, human errors, you name it, we had it. Why? The three B’s. Bad equipment, bad people, bad laws. What’d we do? Replaced the bad people, bad equipment and bad laws. All of which was done in the face of opposition of all Democrats within our state. What happened? The smoothest election cycle in Florida’s history. What didn’t happen in Pennsylvania? Any of that. Why? After the state’s Republican legislature passed election reform and integrity measures – similar to what we’ve done in Florida, the Democrat governor of the state vetoed them. So, this is what we get. The status quo that’s ripe for corruption. Here’s a little flashback from my December 2020 story: US Election Integrity is the Worst in the Developed World: Harvard identified 38 countries which engage in democratic elections. Of them where do you think the United States ranks? If you said 37th you’d be correct. Yes, second worst. The United States ranks just below Vanuatu (gold star if you successfully locate it on a map) and just above Albania. That’s how awful our voting systems are in the United States. Our election systems are so inadequate Ghana’s run rings around us. I’m not kidding they’re several countries ahead. In the but wait there’s more category, the United States ranks 57th overall in election integrity. In other words, elections held in twenty countries where citizens lack freedom, have higher integrity than ours. I really wish I was making this up but it’s all too real. And where specifically did Pennsylvania rank in election integrity according to Harvard’s findings? 8th worst. That means... 
3. They’re the eight worst state in the worst country in the developed world for election integrity. And notably, Florida only ranked one-point higher than PA, prior to the reforms we passed each of the last two years. What’s happening in Pennsylvania is absurd. Needing to count any non-military ballots after Election Day ever, is absurd. But why is it happening? Democrats who demand it. It's indefensible and yet it's also exactly what Florida’s Democrats and complicit news media wanted to maintain in Florida. Pennsylvania serves as a good reminder of two things. Democrats continue to create election chaos (and if they’re having problems with a primary what will happen in November?) and Florida would still be no better off at running elections if it were up to them. Despite cries of voter suppression with states who have passed integrity laws, there’s no evidence of it. In fact, turnout in early primary states is higher. But there’s ample evidence based on Harvard’s research that many states like Pennsylvania still lack meaningful election integrity.
