Democrat Desperation & Jesus Pride - Top 3 Takeaways – June 8th, 2022
- What’s more desperate? It’s been 118 days since President Biden sat down for a one-on-one interview. That all ends today. Against the backdrop of 41-year high inflation, record high gas prices, rise in violence, a border crisis, geopolitical crises, President Joe Biden is finally stepping up to the plate to address these key issues with...Jimmy Kimmel. Now arguably, given the credibility of most news reporters and the political agenda of Jimmy Kimmel’s show, an appearance with Kimmel will be about as substantive as it would be with any of the alphabet network news reporters. Nevertheless, it reeks of desperation and apparently Kimmel is as close to someone credible as the President’s handlers (you know the ones he’s told us, tell him to when to take questions, how long to take questions and who to take questions from) will let him go one-on-one with. This side of Biden calling a press conference to ask us all to like him, this is seemingly about as desperate as it gets. Especially when you consider the size of the audience. Kimmel’s audience totals 1.5 million viewers, or fewer people nationally than live in Palm Beach County – let alone Broward and Miami-Dade. But is it the most desperate Democrat ploy this week? Because tomorrow’s “prime-time” January 6th TV spectacle just may take the cake. Ensuring there’s no doubt Congressional Democrats are every bit as tone-deaf as President Biden, your key concern – the one which warrants a primetime Congressional “special”, is January 6th, 2021. I guess when you’re not willing to address any of the real concerns of Americans, you attempt to wag the dog. But the dog appears to be as lame as Biden and as entertaining as Kimmel. That’s desperation. But which TV event is more desperate? I report, you decide.
- Sexuality isn’t something to be proud of and kudos to the Tampa Bay Rays players who had the courage of their convictions not to cave to a demeaning social agenda. Question. Are our children oversexualized? Is our society oversexualized? Should we be defined by our sexuality or by who we are as people? In our society’s ongoing race to the bottom of the morality drain having “pride” is no longer reserved for homosexuals who choose to define themselves by their sexuality. As the radical social pendulum continues to swing its now become the expectation that straight dudes have pride that there are gay dudes that are proud to be gay dudes. And to wear that pride for all to see – or in this case the somewhat sparse Rays fanbase. On Saturday the Tampa Bay Rays decided to introduce rainbow logos for players to show their “pride”. Five players opted not to for religious reasons. This story and those five players have now become targets of the msm and the forced compliance crowd. After all, how dare any players religiously object to wearing rainbows that show pride for gay dudes being gay? Here’s the quote from the Ray’s player representative: So it’s a hard decision. Because ultimately we all said what we want is them to know that all are welcome and loved here. But when we put it on our bodies, I think a lot of guys decided that it’s just a lifestyle that maybe — not that they look down on anybody or think differently — it’s just that maybe we don’t want to encourage it if we believe in Jesus, who’s encouraged us to live a lifestyle that would abstain from that behavior. Whether one agrees with that position or not...
- It takes guts to take that stand as woke as pop culture is today. But alas those who commonly preach tolerance, in reality they have none of it for those who believe in a differing view of morality. There’s tolerance for being forced to explain to your five-year-old kid what the rainbows and “pride” are all about – because young children watching ballgames should naturally be forced into that conversation. But there’s no tolerance for the players standing up for their belief in Jesus. A lot has changed in 1990 years. Tolerance for Jesus by those who shape culture hasn’t. We should all be defined by our character. No one should be defined by gender, race or sexuality. We quite literally have laws to this effect, and yet, ever more by the day interest groups and politicos who once said stay out of our bedroom are now demanding that we have pride in what they do in the bedroom. Heterosexual, homosexual, we are who we are. I didn’t choose to be straight, and I don’t know anyone who is gay who chose to be gay. But I was never “proud” to be straight, and its beneath anyone to be “proud” to be gay. I’d hope we’re all more than our sexual proclivity. When we can’t even watch a ballgame with our kids anymore without having to talk about homosexuality it has gone too far. When there’s no room for religious objections to the sexualization of our society, it has gone too far. And here’s the irony, what is worthy of pride? One’s faith. History tells us that’s the harder path that’s often is met with various forms of persecution. It takes guts to take that stand.
