  • Gas is another 3 cents per gallon cheaper today statewide. The average price for regular unleaded is currently $4.74 per gallon. The average price in South Florida ranges from a low of $4.81 per gallon in Miami-Dade to $4.91 in Palm Beach County.  
  • Florida’s COVID-19 trend has improved slightly as well. After Wednesday’s reporting, Florida’s paced an average of 10,600 daily Covid cases over the past week. That’s an improvement of nearly 200 daily cases over the past week.  
  • The state’s latest voter registration information – factoring in all active registrations through the end of May, shows Republicans extending their record advantage over Democrats to over 175,000 voters. Democrats held an advantage of nearly 100,000 voters on Election Day 2020.  
  • While total home sales fell in South Florida in May amid record high prices and the highest mortgage rates in over a decade, prices continued higher. The average home sale price across all property types rose by 1.7% during the month and have risen by 15% year-over-year according to the Realtors Association. Single family home prices rose fastest with increases ranging from 15% in Miami-Dade to 30% in Palm Beach County.
