  • Florida’s gas prices are another two cents per gallon lower today. The average statewide price is $3.62 per gallon. In Southeast Florida prices range from a low of $3.69 per gallon in Broward, to a high of $3.83 per gallon in Palm Beach County. 
  • Florida reported the fewest new COVID-19 cases since early May on Monday, dropping the weekly trend for daily cases to 7,194 – the lowest in exactly three months. 
  • A new advisory has been issued to homeowners by the solar advocacy group Solar United Neighborhoods. Amid Florida’s property insurance crisis, many Florida insurers have stopped underwriting policies for homes with solar panels as risk is being reassessed.  
  • Net migration to Florida by upper income earners has occurred at a rate that’s nearly four times the rate of any other state. According to a new SmartAsset analysis, a net 20,263 households with a minimum of $200,000 in annual income relocated to Florida over the past year. Texas has the second highest rate with 5,356 households. New York lost the most through net migration with 19,900 upper income households leaving the state – California was second with over 19,200 leaving the state.
