Hurricane Ian’s Impact & the Unconscionable Words of Kamala Harris – Top 3 Takeaways – October 3rd
- Kamala Harris and Joe Biden aren’t just awful at the jobs they were elected to do – they're horrible people. If you’ve listened to me for any length of time, you know I don’t just say stuff like that. I draw lines between political disagreements and what’s quantifiable. As someone who speaks to there being two sides to stories and one side to facts, characterizing people as “good” or “bad” doesn’t enter the equation. That said, there are people I think we can all reasonably say are “good people” and “bad people”. Who could deny Mother Tereasa was a “good person”? Even a person lacking faith can acknowledge her self-sacrifice for the greater good was humanity at its best. Similarly, who can deny that Osama Bin Laden was a “bad person”? Only other terrorists would disagree. Now those are both extreme examples. There are many more generally good people in society who don’t rise to the level of Mother Teresa’s work, just as there are many other bad people who haven’t caused anywhere near the level of death and destruction of Osama Bin Laden. Kamala Harris and Joe Biden are certainly nowhere near as bad as Bin Laden, but as is always the case, its during times of adversity you really see what people are made of. In the name of attempted political gain in advance of the midterms, Joe Biden, who ran on being a “uniter” has been busy attempting to turn Americans against Americans with his continuous rants against what he calls the greatest threat to our country - MAGA Republicans. It really is something when the President of the United States repeatedly suggests Trump supporters are a bigger threat to our country than say, Xi Jinping in China, the Mullahs in Iran or Putin in Russia but alas. And it’s really something when Floridians on Florida’s Gulf Coast are fighting for their lives as the death toll from Hurricane Ian’s devastation continues to rise and the Vice President of the United States says this when asked about the federal government’s Ian response: It is our lowest-income communities and communities of color that are most impacted by these extreme conditions and impacted by issues not of their own making. We have to address this in a way that is about giving resources based on equity, understanding that we fight for equality, but we also need to fight for equity.
- Sal Alinsky would be proud. Straight out of Rules for Radicals, never let a crisis go to waste. In this case, screw the lives of Americans, Floridians, in dire need right now, this is an opportunity to advance the socialist agenda. And naturally Joe Biden, who prioritized talking with Democrat Mayors, in what turned out to be largely unimpacted areas, instead of our governor last week, naturally came out with a strong statement to set the record straight. Oh, actually not. He said nothing. Perhaps that’s because those most impacted by the Hurricane are mostly the MAGA Republicans he’s identified as a threat to the republic? You see Charlotte County went for Trump over Biden by 27%. In Collier – it was a 25% margin of victory for Trump and in Lee, 19% more voters broke for our former president. There’s nothing worse leaders can do during times of tragedy with lives on the line, than politicizing the event. But since the Biden administration has done it, since prior to Ian even making landfall, perhaps the political reality of those impacted counties are what’s behind the administration's stated mission of deploying resources based on social justice “equity” measures? You can understand why they wouldn’t want to save the lives of those they’ve already stated are a threat to this country. So yes, I say this with absolute clarity and no hesitation... There almost aren't words to describe how truly awful Kamala Harris & Joe Biden are. "Equity" politics with lives literally on the line. They aren't just awful at the jobs they were elected to do. They're horrible people. And btw, where are the rest of the elected Democrats repudiating the comments of the Biden administration? What does that say about them? Meanwhile...
- It isn’t true. As in the ability for the Biden administration to attempt to violate the Civil Rights Act in providing emergency relief for those in need in the name of woke racist and socialist policies. As Christina Pushaw, Governor DeSantis’ Rapid Response Director, immediately stated in the wake of the VP’s comments... This is false. @VP's rhetoric is causing undue panic and must be clarified. FEMA Individual Assistance is already available to all Floridians impacted by Hurricane Ian, regardless of race or background. If you need assistance visit http://disasterassistance.gov or call 1-800-621-3362. That said, thank God for our state’s leadership. There’s no telling where impacted Floridians would be without them - (unless they fit the right racial and socioeconomic profile anyway).
