The Florida Department of Environmental Protection is celebrating prescribed fires.
The agency's state park service says they've had a record year for the form of land management.
Park staff has applied prescribed fires to over 96,000 acres of land in the Sunshine State this year.
They say the fires help maintain a healthy ecosystem.
